A little more homework to do

What quote am I vibing? "I'm trying to follow. I'm trying to lead. I'm trying to find what is true. But if you're going to stand with me, then you have to concede that we all have - a little more homework to do." Jason Robert Brown, from 13: The Musical

It's true that the more we learn, the more we realize we know...nothing. Patience, listening, and flexibility are what will help us make an impact.

Brian and I were at the beach yesterday, and we heard a simple argument escalate so quickly, that I actually felt nervous that violence would erupt. I'm sure that we have all witnessed moments like this lately. I certainly don't know the best way forward for us as neighbors and citizens of this Earth, but I do believe we all have to slow down, listen, and do a little more homework.

The autumn has been surprisingly cool here in South Florida - it definitely makes it easier to get out there, and enjoy a cleanup. Looking forward to more of that!
