"Out of the Frying Pan (and Into the Fire)" is my favorite Meat Loaf song. I love songs like this that just make us want to move, no matter what mood we are in. And it is amazing what a little happy movement, and a little motivation can do. January was so completely busy with my full-time job - in a way that I haven't experienced before in my role. I have the great gift of being able to maintain a healthy work-life balance. When I couldn't do that, because I was working overtime on weekends - it surprised me how much it took the wind out of my sails.
I wish everyone in the world would have the opportunity to find this balance - find something they are passionate about to balance with something they do well to pay the bills. Some people find that they can pay the bills with the thing they are passionate about. Me - if you tried to pay me to pick up trash all day, I would quickly tire of it. I do this out of love - I find it difficult to monetize that. I'd love to hear from people who do manage to live a happy life earning money from their true passion! I have questions. 🙂
For now, here is to a much trashier...less trashy (???)...February. (I'm going to pick up more) Maybe I can finally get beyond the boundaries of my neighborhood more than just a couple times!
