Pounds of Trash Removed from the Wild in 2022: 875

All-Time Pounds of Trash Removed from the Wild: 3240

A couple days late, but this serves as the wrap-up for 2022.

875 pounds of trash picked up this year - we fell short of the 1,000 pound goal, but not all that short, in the end! December was a busy month and not entirely spent at home. It's always better to work hard in the beginning of the year, before life gets away from you. That's what I hope to do in 2023.

What can you dedicate to the betterment of our Earth this year?

I will pick up 1,000 pounds of trash.

I will buy fewer than 3 items of new clothing.

At least once a week, I will choose a vegetarian meal, when my instinct is to choose meat.

I will charge my car once every 5 days or more, limiting my use of gasoline.

November 30. Stuart Beach. 5 pounds.

December 2. Kanner Highway. 5 pounds.

December 5. Kanner Highway. 3 pounds.

December 9. Kanner Highway with Brian. 6 pounds.

December 11. Central Parkway with Brian. 11 pounds.

December 15. Santa Lucea Beach with David Lai. 25 pounds.

December 21. Kanner Highway. 6 pounds.
