I had a very productive day!
I packed all my cold-weather stuff for the trip, to include everything from long sleeved shirts to a winter coat. Northern California seems to be a very fickle girl in September, especially on the mountain.
Also, as pictured, I realized I'd better break in my hiking boots before I dive in to actual hiking, so I laced them up inside and did some chores. They're heavy but comfortable for now. I'm sure they're supposed to be heavy so I don't tumble down a cliff.
This week I get my eyes examined, my tires replaced, my hair colored and snipped, and a massage. It's going to be a busy one. I'll keep you posted!
